Rapala VMC Corporation CEO awarded major Finnish honour

Lars Ollberg, CEO of Rapala VMC Corporation, has been award a top honour to mark Finland’s Independence Day.

As a mark of distinction, the President of the Republic of Finland has awarded Ollberg the Commander of the Order of the Lion of Finland, an honour he immediately dedicated to the entire staff at Rapala. “I am truly honoured by this recognition, which does not only belong to myself, but to the entire staff of Rapala VMC Corporation,” he said.

“Our main markets, such as North America, are highly competitive and maintaining our position over the long term reflects our strong reputation and solid establishment. I am proud to have been part of building and sustaining Rapala’s global reputation across all continents for many years.

“I have sought to foster a positive sense of community both within our people and our partners. I believe this has been an essential part of our success. I would like to thank everyone for their support and commitment over the years. This achievement belongs to us all.”
