Angling Direct surpasses 50 UK stores

The UK’s largest fishing tackle retailer has opened its 51st UK store.

Over the last few years Angling Direct has seen its UK store estate not only grow in size, but transform into what it describes as a ‘leading’ industry retail experience’. “Nobody does it better,” says Craig Jones, Chief Operating Officer at the group. “It is testament to such a hard working team at Angling Direct plc.”

Last week – following closely after the opening of its first EU store in Utrecht – the company opened its 51st outlet in Newark, Nottinghamshire. The 10,000 sqm superstore caters for the needs of all anglers in the region, says the company.
