Terminal tackle supplier extends its latest concept

Share

Centro Corporation, the international supplier of terminal tackle, has expanded its recently launched SWATTLE Series with innovations that combine a rattling sound, practical rigging functions and additional versatility.

Rather than using weights or swivels only for their traditional functions, Centro has added rattle technology to various components to provide extra underwater attraction. At the same time, the products are designed with practical features that reduce line twist, and include easier rig changes and versatile rigging options.

These products show how the SWATTLE concept can be used for a variety of fishing applications, says Centro.

Swivel Eye-Rattle Weight
One of Centro’s latest developments, it is a patent-pending, dual-purpose weight designed for both dropshot and free rig fishing. The swivel-eye at the top helps reduce line twist and improves rig stability when used as a dropshot weight. For free rig fishing, the bottom section has no bottom eye. Instead, it extends straight from the body and ends with a slightly angled tip. This design helps provide smooth and natural movement. At the same time, the built-in rattle creates additional underwater sound to attract fish and help trigger strikes. The Swivel-Eye Rattle Weight is available in a wide range of weights from 1/16oz to 1oz, allowing anglers to choose the right size for different fishing conditions.

SWATTLE Weight Crane
Described as a new approach to the Carolina Rig, it combines the swivel, bead and weight in one component – making the rig simpler – while also adding Centro’s built-in rattle technology. The waterproof rattle chamber produces underwater sound to attract fish, while the integrated Crane Swivel helps reduce line twist and allows smoother lure movement. Like the Swivel-Eye Rattle Weight, it is available in weights from 1/16oz to 1oz, providing options for different fishing conditions.

SWATTLE Quick Change Vertical Rig
Designed to allow anglers to quickly change the weight, hook or lure without retying the line. It also features a built-in rattle that produces a fish-attracting sound when the rod is jerked or the line is pulled. The swivel and split ring help reduce line twist and maintain natural lure movement. It is also available in weights from 1/16oz to 1oz, allowing anglers to choose the right weight for different depths and fishing conditions.

SWATTLE Rattle Screw Blade
Combining sound and flash, it expands the SWATTLE concept beyond traditional weight products. The Quick Screw-Lock System allows anglers to quickly attach, reposition or remove the blade while minimising damage to soft plastic lures. The integrated Rattle Crane Swivel creates a rattle sound while helping the blade move smoothly. Its compact and reusable design allows it to be installed in different positions on soft plastic baits, giving anglers more ways to customise their lure presentation.

SWATTLE Quick Rattle Flash
An easy upgrade for soft bait rigs, it provides another simple way to add the SWATTLE concept to an existing rig. Using the Quick Change Snap, it can be easily attached to the hook eye or shank without any tools or complicated rigging. The integrated Rattle Swivel creates underwater sound through lure movement and rod action, while the spinning blade provides additional flash. Its compact and versatile design makes it an easy way to add new functions to existing soft bait rigs for a wide range of saltwater fishing applications. From dropshot and free rig fishing to Carolina Rigs and soft bait applications, Centro says that it continues to explore new ways to combine a rattling sound with practical fishing tackle components.

“The SWATTLE series represents Centro’s approach to product development: starting with familiar rigging methods, adding new functions and keeping the products simple and practical for anglers to use,” says the company. “Several products are currently patent pending and Centro continues to develop and expand the series for different fishing techniques and market needs.”
