Fast growing Danish brand enters Canadian and North American market

One of Scandinavia’s fastest growing fishing brands has marked an important step in its international growth strategy with the appointment of a distributor to handle sales across Canada and selected markets in the United States.

Nordic Fieldsport has entered into an agreement with Canadian tackle supplier Rugged Tackle, which will distribute its Myran Sweden range of handcrafted spinners and rods, Wolfcreek predator gear and Pulz Bait patented lure technology across the new markets for the Danish company.

Rugged Tackle is led by Cole Peck (right in main picture), an angler with a passion for Scandinavian and European style fishing.

Nordic’s Eric Svendsen said: “The North American market has always represented an exciting opportunity for us. With Rugged Tackle we have found a partner which understands our brands, shares our ambitions and believes in building the market together with retailers for the long-term.”
