Pallatrax, maker of the international award-winning STONZE fishing weight system, is ready to take its business to a new level in Europe and beyond.
The UK-based business will be at EFTTEX in September to show off its unique and high quality product ranges that have been designed to help anglers catch more fish whilst also being sympathetic to the environment.

Simon Pomeroy, owner of the business, told Angling International: “EFTTEX is a fantastic opportunity to network with companies from far and wide as well as discussing partnerships through investment opportunities. Pallatrax is something of a blank canvas when it comes to various export markets.
“I would be the first to admit that the scale and potential of ‘Project Pallatrax’ has grown exponentially over the last 12 months and the show is an opportunity to speak to those inside the industry who may be interested in getting involved in what is a truly exciting, exclusive and profitable proposition.”
Pomeroy has been a genuine leader when it comes to developing performance-led and environmentally-friendly alternatives for anglers. “Pallatrax, through innovation, has opened up a doorway for exciting and proven products and, as the brand grows, more and more anglers are embracing what is actually a very common sense approach to angling and fishery management.

“As the trade has stagnated, Pallatrax has blazed its own trail through both passion and innovation, and with better manufacturing and marketing we are definitely open for business with anyone wanting to engage with such a unique brand.”

Pallatrax will be bringing the acclaimed Gripz hook range to Brussels later this month, which it describes as a genuine third design option alongside barbed and barbless hooks. “Designed in collaboration with our Japanese manufacturer, the Gripz hook point design surpasses the dated barbed and barbless options and has buried the myth that there was no room for improvement in the design of a hook,” says Pomeroy.
“With my fishery owner and carp angler hats on, I could not accept that the hook point couldn’t be improved upon and, with limited marketing, it has been amazing to see how quickly anglers and fisheries worldwide have embraced Gripz and bought into the design, thus reaping the benefits of this award-winning range.”
Second up is the STONZE system, another first from the company. “The design was all about producing something that would assist the angler to catch more fish and outperform the much maligned lead weights via the natural attributes that STONZE gives.”
Pomeroy added: “There is absolutely no hidden agenda with Pallatrax and I believe that once the ranges are shown and the back stories told, you will see that we are the real deal.
“If you are interested in the future of angling development then please feel free to visit our stand, H12, at the show. You will be more than welcome and it won’t take you long to understand that Pallatrax is a business that is looking into the future, and for all the right reasons.”
