Jatsui promises to ‘change perceptions’ with new braid

Share

Since its inception, Italy’s Jatsui brand has been on a mission to bring innovation to the world of fishing.

Jatsui is kept on track thanks to the daily attention and guidance of its parent company Scorziello SASA.

Its latest innovation is a new generation braid that Jatsui says takes everything to the next level. The Jatsui Moonster X8 Braid comes from the centre of new technology in tackle – Japan – and has been adapted and engineered for use in the Mediterranean.

Jatsui Moonster X8 Braid is an eight-strand structure, created using the diamond braiding technique and controlled and managed by artificial intelligence, which improves the compact crossings during the manufacturing process. This reduces fibre separation and optimises the free-flow of the line through the guides during casting and retrieving.

And that is not all, says Scorziello SASA. The real innovation in the Moonster is the surface which is fluoro-coated. New to Jatsui, this gives it an extra smooth surface and incorporates a hydrophobic feature. The line is not just unaffected by the water, it simply slides off the braid.

The first release of the Moonster will see it delivered in 150m spools in diameters of PE0.4, PE0.6, PE0.8 and PE1.0 and in 300m spools of PE0.8, PE1.0, PE1.2 and PE1.5.

Scorziello SASA’s Export/Import Manager, Armando Zito, said: “This is a product that has the potential to change the perception of fishing braids as we know it.”

Jatsui is distributed by Scorziello SASA alongside a number of other brands that are highlighted in the company’s ever evolving catalogue that features new products every season.
