Australian saltwater brand reports positive European growth

A company that travelled over halfway across the world for the European trade show has reported positive growth and increased brand recognition from the industry in the region.

Ocean’s Legacy, a saltwater brand based in Perth, Australia, made the 8,100-mile journey to the Hungarian capital Budapest for the second year running to continue its export drive across Europe.

The company’s owner and founder, Alan Koh (above), told Angling International that following its appearance at Angling International LIVE, it will be appointing more dealers and distributors to its ranks in the coming months.

“Our goal this year was to expand our footprint in European markets,” said Koh. “We were able to reconnect with our existing dealer network from Italy, Bulgaria, Greece and Slovenia and had great initial discussions with distributors from Spain, Turkey and the United Kingdom.

“We see much growth and potential in Europe, especially in the saltwater slow jigging and top water markets. Retailers and distributors are definitely on the hunt for a complete saltwater solution which Ocean’s Legacy offers.

“We are happy with the positive growth and brand recognition of Ocean’s Legacy in the EU. There is an upbeat vibe for saltwater sportfishing products.”
