New companies, new products and an exciting new format will greet visitors to the first ever Angling International LIVE show in Budapest this month.
Nearly a quarter of companies attending the show will be at a European trade show for the first time. They hail from across the globe – including Egypt, China, Scandinavia, the US, India, Pakistan and Europe – and will be breathing new life into the event by offering a range of exciting new choices for buyers.
The newcomers are an eclectic mix and vary from established brands in their own right to businesses just making their way in the industry and looking to make their own innovative stamp on the market. These include Autoboats Fishing launched by French brothers Morgan and Pierre Binet who will arrive in Budapest armed with a stylish collection of home-produced baits.
From Scandinavia comes Norolan (main image) – a well-known brand in the Nordic region that will be showing off its handcrafted Finnish lures that it will be launching across Europe for the first time.
Visitors looking for a terminal tackle supplier will be interested to check out Egyptian producer EFT Hooks, which boasts the most advanced quality control laboratory in the industry for its OEM customers and own brand products.

Then ELLA, the UK-based digital expert that simplifies business transformation by optimising your processes, data, systems and talent, could ensure that you are well prepared to make the most of every opportunity.
Returning to the European show after a dramatic facelift is iconic French match brand RIVE Sport Fishing which, along with carp fishing stablemates Mack2 and Leon, will be looking for distributors across Europe, as is one of Scandinavia’s best known eyewear suppliers, Leech Eyewear.
Also returning to Europe’s premier tackle event is one of the world’s oldest fishing brand’s Maver, which is looking to sign up retailers from Hungary and the surrounding region following its partnership with Hungarian bait manufacturer, Energofish.
Representatives of some of China’s best-kept secrets will also be making their debuts at Angling International LIVE as they look to expand their international reach to one of the world’s largest and most lucrative markets. These include Cixi Xiang Yang Fishing Tackle – a company with 14 years of experience in OEM reel design that has a production output of approximately 2,000,000 units a year and serves customers in 20 countries across the globe. Watch out for a new reel for the carp fishing sector.
Dongyang Yile Fishing Tackle Company will be joining its fellow countrymen at the European show for the first time after appearances at trade shows in the US and Russia where it showed off its high quality range of nylon monofilament, PE braided and carbon lines.
Hebei AQ Sohshin – a Sino-Japanese collaboration that majors in fishing waders – is also looking to Europe to add to its OEM list of international clients.
