Turrall shows off novel use for old flies lines

European show regular Turrall & – one of the longest-running fly making companies in the world – will be showing off a novel lanyard for anglers at the Angling International LIVE show.

The Turrall Lanyard, one of its entries in the Fly Fishing category of the New Product Showcase, is made entirely from recycled fly lines. Company owner Dylan Posnich told Angling International: “When lines have come to the end of their lives, they can be repurposed for use on the stream. It is just another way that we can save products from becoming part of the environmental problem.”

The company is also introducing a line of ice fishing flies in Budapest. These Off-Bead Tungsten Ice Flies are built for deep-sinking fast jigging fishing during the winter months.
