After 26,280 hours of development and three years of testing, award-winning hook maker BKK has unveiled its ARMORPOINT Series – described as a ‘true revolution’ in bass fishing.
Launched at the ICAST trade show in the US in July, it is made using the company’s ‘best-in-class’ material, Hyper Carbon Steel (HCS).
“HCS outperforms traditional carbon steel hooks, being 25% stronger and 30% harder than anything we have ever made,” says BKK. “Whether you are competing on the final day of the Bassmaster Classic or enjoying a weekend session on the local lake, these hooks are designed to enhance, excel and supercharge your fishing experience.
“The highlight of the series is the Permalock range of weighted and unweighted hooks. They are specially tailored for Senkos and soft jerkbaits, boasting an innovative tungsten nail keeper. These hooks will elevate your soft plastics game and will allow new presentations which bass have never seen before.
“Additionally, we have introduced a super sticky treble hook that should be kept out of reach of anything that should not be hooked and new dropshot hooks that will redefine your finesse fishing.”
