Rob Carter: The numbers that say you will find new business at the show

Share

Angling International owner Rob Carter writes: I just checked this morning. With four months to go we already have buyers from 45 countries pre-registered for Angling International LIVE. That is incredible.

Why? Because it represents pretty much the largest number of pre-registered visitors for a European trade show at this stage in the planning cycle, and it puts us on target to be the best attended B2B show for Europe for years.

I also learned something else incredible this week. And on three separate occasions too. It happened during my conversations with registered exhibitors.

I have been asking exhibitors to tell me what success will look like for them after three days on the show floor. Three times, and from three very different exhibitors, I received a quite incredible response. I talked to an established OEM tackle supplier, an SME from eastern Europe and, finally, a non-core supplier selling tech into the tackle trade. All three told me that success for them would be… just one or two new customers.

One or two new customers. That’s it. Plenty of appointments, yes. Seeing current customers, sure. But success? Just one or two new customers.

Now, given the incredible rate at which we are signing up visiting buyers to Angling International LIVE, I think you would agree that the chances are extremely high of these three companies securing the new business they need to make their investments worthwhile. In fact, I would go further and say it’s pretty much guaranteed that the show will be a success for them.

And if for them, then also for you.

Angling International LIVE is not a sound-and-vision brand-building consumer show. It’s not even a ‘volume’ feature-packed B2B show like ICAST. It is a trade show where you come to make connections in Europe and find the high-value regional customers that will grow your business for the following 12 months and beyond.

If you are not already registered to exhibit and you are seeking, say, two good new customers for 2025, then sign up for a booth now. Check the numbers. Success is pretty much guaranteed.

We want to energise the European trade with you and put us all on track for more success in the months to come. But, the bottom line is, in Budapest in September we will connect you to buyers that will help your business grow.

No matter where you want to expand your business, there will be a buyer from Europe (and elsewhere) ready to make a connection. Check out the list we have already, with many more to follow:

Bosnia, Bulgaria, China, Costa Rica, Croatia, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Lithuania, Malta, Mauritius, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, UK, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, USA.

Angling International LIVE is gathering momentum. With four months to go we are adding more channels to keep you up to date and also to promote you as an exhibitor when you book your booth (yes, that’s part of it too, and it’s how we will connect you with the right visitors months in advance).

You can keep up to date now with the new Facebook page launched this month. And expect more platforms to follow in the weeks ahead.

Angling International LIVE promises to be the best B2B show in Europe for years, but it needs support from businesses like yours. Businesses that will benefit when we create new connections between suppliers and buyers in September.

So book your booth now. We are determined to make the best show for all exhibitors, and we already have the numbers that prove it.
