Aspiring global leader returns to Angling International LIVE

Share

Want to know what a company aspiring to be a global leader in sportfishing has to offer visitors to Angling International LIVE?

Then visit the booth of emerging Australian tackle supplier Ocean’s Legacy which is making its second visit to the European show as it looks to establish a foothold in the region. At the heart of its offering will be a powerful line-up of sea fishing products that have been honed in some of the harshest fishing environments on the planet.

The company’s founder, Alan Kohl (below), told Angling International that Ocean’s Legacy is bringing plenty of new products as well as upcoming ones that it is looking forward to showcasing at the event.

“We have expanded our rod range to include land-based heavy tackle and surf models and will also be bringing a full range of slow pitch and micro jig ranges. New heavy duty terminal tackle, including Legacy’s GT trebles, monster split rings and accessories will also be on display.”

Kohl revealed that Ocean’s Legacy will be releasing its first squid jig (below) to the market at Angling International LIVE.

To achieve its aim of becoming a global leader in the industry, Kohl said it is vital that Ocean’s Legacy builds a strong presence in both the large European and US markets. “Europe is very important to us. We believe our fishery in Australia is very similar to much of the region, especially in the saltwater field.

“Last year was our first visit to Europe and it was a big learning experience. We got the opportunity to meet new customers from all parts of the region and gained valuable exposure. We are really looking forward to building on that.”

Ocean’s Legacy, a regular at its own domestic show – the Australian Tackle Trade Association event on the Gold Coast – attended ICAST in the US last year. “ICAST brings in massive crowds and gains a lot of media attention. It is our biggest stand and exposure for us in the US market.”
