KastKing accelerates transformation with sales rep appointment

Share

KastKing’s transformation from an online provider of entry-level rods and reels to a high performance brand available online or through traditional retail shops has been accelerated by the appointment of the Frontier Sales and Marketing Group.

Based in Katy, Texas, Frontier was established in 1999 and is particularly strong in bass and inshore saltwater fishing.

“The timing is perfect because they were without a factory rod and reel provider and we were looking for a strong partner in that respect,” said KastKing CEO Al Noraker.

“Its presence in this retail market is so extensive. It will help us dive deeper into the dealer market in the 15 southern states it covers. We have great existing distribution through current partners, specifically Pitman Creek and Big Rock, but needed a rep group that could provide on-hand training and product information to the dealer network.

“I want people to understand that KastKing is not just an entry level line,” added Noraker. “We are truly a technology company. We intend to make sure retailers love KastKing as a leading brand in their stores and have as much success as possible with our products.”

KastKing’s strategy is underpinned by the appointment of Eric Knickerbocker to the new role of National Sales Strategist, a position created to ensure customers are supported after purchasing products, whether by social media, marketing efforts or product knowledge.

Frontier’s Sales and Business Coordinator Denis Breaud said his agency’s recent southeast expansion made it an ideal partnership. “We are blown away by the quality of KastKing products and the tremendous value they offer. This should be a fun ride.”
