Daiwa Australia introduces ‘most advanced’ braid ever

Available now at Daiwa Australia dealers Down Under is the what the company describes as its ‘most advanced’ braided line ever.

The J-Braid Expedition features the same IZANAS fibre construction that has made the J Braid so popular, but it now utlises Daiwa’s Silicon ‘Coating PE’ technology that creates a slicker, smoother braid with hydrophobic properties that increases durability and enhances feel.

J-Braid Expedition’s silicon coating does not absorb any water. This means it also does not take in silt and sediment present in the water, which is the number one cause of braided line wear and tear over time.

By shedding the water thanks to the hydrophobic properties, J-Braid Expedition will last longer than traditional braided lines, providing more value and greater performance.

The benefits don’t stop there either, says Daiwa. With an incredibly high weave count, it is braided tighter than almost any other line on the market, providing an incredibly round profile braid which will not separate and fray when in use.

It is available in two colour options: a hi-vis orange and metered multi-colour in 150m, 300m, 500m and 3000m bulk spools across PE ratings from #0.6 (8lb) through to PE #8 (90lb).
