China Fish: Centro ready for big push with new products

Share

Centro Corporation, the South Korea-headquartered fishing tackle manufacturer with its own production facilities in China, will arrive at China Fish 2026 with a clear objective: to strengthen its international reach while reinforcing the core values that have defined the company’s rise in the global terminal tackle sector.

Specialising in saltwater fishing and terminal tackle products, Centro has built its reputation on trust, quality, innovation and customer focus. These principles continue to guide the company’s product development strategy as it expands its footprint in the United States and European markets. “We plan to participate in the exhibition with a focus on our new products,” the company says, highlighting China Fish 2026 as a key platform to present innovations tailored to evolving angler and trade requirements.

At the centre of its showcase will be Centro’s latest innovation, the Swattle Weight – a multifunctional terminal tackle component that integrates a swivel, a spinning rattle and a control weight into one unit. Designed to help rigs reach the desired depth more efficiently while generating an attractive sound signal for fish, the Swattle Weight builds on the concept of the original Swattle hybrid swivel but adds enhanced sink-rate control and sound-attraction features that are aimed at improving catch rates in a range of saltwater conditions.

With headquarters in South Korea and manufacturing operations in China, Centro supplies customers worldwide and has earned recognition from major players across the fishing tackle industry. Years of accumulated expertise in developing and producing high-quality terminal tackle have enabled the company to secure the confidence of large international clients – an achievement it intends to build upon through deeper engagement at the Beijing show. “For our existing customers, we will continue to offer opportunities to expand their product ranges and strengthen our partnerships,” Centro adds, underlining the importance of long-term collaboration.

Maintaining a leadership position in the terminal tackle category remains central to Centro’s long-term vision. The company continues to invest in thoughtful product engineering for a wide range of fishing applications while ensuring consistent quality across global distribution channels. China Fish 2026 provides an important platform to communicate this vision, demonstrate innovation in saltwater-focused solutions and strengthen relationships with distributors, retailers and brand partners.

Equally important is Centro’s ambition to broaden its network in Western markets. “In some European markets, we also plan to supply products under the CENTRO brand, with a focus on our new product lines,” the company notes, signalling a more visible brand presence alongside its established OEM and supply partnerships.

As the industry gathers in Beijing in February 2026, Centro Corporation will present itself not simply as a manufacturer, but as a committed partner to the international fishing tackle trade – dedicated to delivering reliable products, continuous innovation and the support needed to help customers and anglers everywhere land the next big fish.
