Rising exhibitor numbers for China Fish 2025 – already over 600 – indicate a return to a vibrant and proactive tackle industry in the country after it has overcome numerous challenges.
That’s the view of Li Jiang, President of the show. The event, which takes place at the China International Exhibition Center from February 9th to 11th, marks its 31st anniversary – a milestone Li Jiang says motivates his team to improve the quality and diversity of exhibitors.
“China Fish has been identifying and supporting fishing tackle businesses that embody the creativity, innovation and craftsmanship spirit to take the stage on the global platform. Remarkably, over 95% of our exhibitors are source manufacturers, offering direct production, competitive pricing and customised options which streamline the supply chain for our international clients,” he said.

Every year China Fish draws international buyers from around 80 countries, cementing its reputation as a go-to event for fishing tackle professionals from around the world. The event showcases a vast array of tackle and related products from suppliers dedicated to meeting competitive pricing requirements and quality standards, added Li Jiang.
Exhibitors hail from 19 provinces and municipalities in China, encompassing all the major fishing tackle manufacturing hubs. “Attendees can find all suppliers in one place, eliminating the need for extensive travel to source products.”
Last year 256 new exhibitors attended China Fish, accounting for 34.8% of all exhibitors. “This makes the event an optimal venue for reconnecting with existing partners while establishing relationships with new ones – all within a cost-effective three-day timeframe.
“For those seeking innovative and exciting new products, China Fish is a must-visit. In a survey conducted last year, 91.5% of international buyers sought to discover new items with 93.5% achieving that goal.”
The Best New Product Showcase has gained significant traction within the industry and has become a popular event for many companies to launch their latest new products.

In addition to the standard show services like hotel reservations at group rates and shuttle bus services, China Fish provides registered buyers with one to two years free membership of the China Fish All-in-One Platform. This online service connects them to over 700 suppliers and displays more than 8,000 products, allowing sourcing, inquiries and order placements long after the show has ended.
“China Fish has consistently maintained an open-minded approach to ‘win-win’ cooperation with all parties in the industry,” said Li Jiang. “Having survived the global financial crisis of 2008 and the impact of COVID-19, we now face new challenges. However, we firmly believe that by coming together and collaborating, we will certainly overcome these and navigate through these difficult situations.”
