Pure Fishing veteran joins growing Nordic Fieldsport sales team

Nordic Fieldsport has continued to strengthen its European sales organisation with the appointment of Christian Holert as Sales Manager for Germany.

Holert brings nearly four decades of experience from the fishing and outdoor trade, having started his career in 1987 with Shakespeare in Germany. From 1989 to 2013, he was responsible for sales at Exori Fishing in Northern Germany, before taking on sales responsibility for Hardy & Greys in the same region from 2013. Most recently, from 2020, he served as Account Manager for Pure Fishing in Northern Germany, representing leading brands such as Abu Garcia, Berkley, PENN, Spiderwire, Greys and Hardy.

In his new role at Nordic Fieldsport, Holert will focus on building a strong, nationwide sales network across Germany. A key priority will be ensuring that retailers receive the support needed to successfully work with Nordic Fieldsport’s innovative and heritage-driven product portfolio, including brands such as Wolfcreek Lures, Pulz Bait and Myran.

A passionate angler since the age of 10, Holert regularly fishes in the waters of Northern Germany and brings extensive hands-on experience from both freshwater and saltwater fishing – adding a valuable and practical insight to his role and to the benefit of retail partners.

Inspired by the vision of Nordic Fieldsport founder, Lars Svendsen and his sons Eric and Henrik, Holert says he was drawn to the company’s ambition to combine genuine innovation with strong brand heritage.

“That is why I am proud to help shape a strong, motivated and satisfied retail network for Nordic Fieldsport across Germany,” he said.
