The Mg-Ti (above) has been developed to incorporate the world’s first true titanium spool and shaft for ultra-lightweight performance and superior strength. With a 0.35mm thin wall and a weight of just 7g, it ‘casts effortlessly with minimal inertia’ says KastKing.
The iReel2 (below) promises to ‘revolutionise the fishing experience’ of any angler thanks to the cutting-edge tech that pairs it with your smartphone. Precise motion-capture sensors in the spool give feedback on casting distance, maximum casting speed, post-cast line out, retrieval speed & cadence and casting duration. It is a reel built for durability, comfort and for the future of fishing.

Along with many other industry first accomplishments, these two new high technology reels are perfect examples of why KastKing has grown at breathtaking speed. Founded in 2013 by Tate Cui while completing his MBA at Syracuse University, KastKing took shape after Cui (right) recognised the power of fishing to connect people with nature.
