A UK trailblazer in envonmentally-friendly fishing weights and hooks is taking its products to eastern Europe following a distribution agreement with one of the region’s top tackle suppliers.
Pallatrax rounded off a successful Angling International LIVE show by agreeing a distribution deal in Hungary with leading fishing tackle supplier Energofish, which launched its award-winning Gripz hooks (main picture) at the country’s FeHoVa consumer show in Budapest last month.
Simon Pomeroy, owner of Pallatrax, said: “We had already achieved what we set out to at Angling International LIVE, so this was collaboration was a massive bonus for us.”
“Joining forces with such a credible company now allows my brand to be offered into retail across Hungary for the first time so this is a very significant deal within this country in Europe. Energofish will be focusing on sales of the Gripz hook from Pallatrax – a winner in the Carp & Feeder category of the New Product Showcase at Angling International LIVE– alongside its hair rigs, Steamlink Dyneema hooklinks and its unique Serious Shrink tubing.
