Dohitomi’s back and relishing return to traditional European date

Japanese hook brand Dohitomi is returning to Angling International LIVE and welcoming the switch back to the traditional June timing for a European show.
The brand, which has been a regular on the European trade circuit since 1994, says that the timing of the event, which takes place between June 26th and 28th in Bratislava, is much more convenient as September is a busy month for the company.
The business is also making the most of a weakened yen which has given it an edge when selling its Japanese terminal tackle at an advantageous price.
“Japanese products are attracting more attention than ever before because of the economic situation and both Japanese exhibitors and buyers could benefit from that at the show,” said Yoshi Dohi.
Osaka-based Dohitomi, owner of the Maruto, Eagle Wave and Odz hook brands, regards the European market as an important one for the company, with its main export regions currently comprising the UK, Italy, Germany and Hungary.
It is looking forward to adding to its distribution network and introducing visitors to its booth to its array of current products and new ones that it has in the pipeline.
