SERT adds TEXTREME distribution to fly fishing portfolio

SERT Fishing – the owner of one of the largest ranges of fly fishing products in Europe – has become the exclusive distributor in Europe of TEXTREME, the Italian maker of fly tying materials.

Under the new agreement SERT will offer more than 3,000 new references to its customers. Jean-Baptiste Nurenberg, Product Manager, told Angling International: “We are proud to introduce TEXTREME which is renowned for its excellence in fly tying. Today our fly fishing division boasts one of the largest ranges in Europe thanks to our major brands – JMC Fly Fishing, HYDROX and MDC – and the exclusive distribution of brands like Orvis.

“TEXTREME is part of this dynamic, aiming to offer the widest choice of products for fly fishing while guaranteeing quality. We continue to grow.”

Nurenberg added that a big advantage of the deal is the proximity between the two companies with TEXTREME located in northern Italy “This greatly facilitates the quality and speed of supplies.”

TEXTREME is known for its extensive and diversified range of threads, chenilles, synthetic fibres, balls and ballast and accessories which are designed to meet the needs of the most passionate fly tyer.
