Jatsui is taking Mediterranean fishing to another level as it brings to Europe the latest influences and trends of Japanese saltwater fishing styles and adapts to regional market trends.
Born in 2014, the Jatsui brand has made giant steps forward, delivering:
During those ten years Jatsui has seen the introduction of innovations like the Crazy Killer – the first underwater popper – and the latest releases that include the Rushi Egi’s Rubber Cloth System, with its new sensitive outer layer, and the Rush Mag which includes MagSys to control the weight through a mechanical system.
“All these ideas are part of the Jatsui experience that includes not only eging but also trends in vertical fishing from light to heavy boat fishing techniques to spinning. The spinning range has seen the recent release of the Jatsui Cliff, a complete set of spinning rods that confirm the potential of the brand in the development of new projects,” said Export Manager Armando Zito.
Product development is based on a triangle of powers: the Italian headquarter of the brand, the pro-fishing team and selected manufacturers that serve the business. Jatsui continues to be inspired by Japanese innovations but is powered by an internal energy that brings new launches to market month after month. Next year will see two new catalogues filled with literally hundreds of new references available to order from the first months of 2025.
Adds Zito: “The Mediterranean is an everyday battlefield for Jatsui and the brand currently touches every country in the region, from the most easterly ones like Cyprus and Turkey to Portugal, taking in Greece, North Africa, Italy and Spain. It is a distribution net that in the last four years has seen a constant growth throughout every region of Europe from anglers interested in what Jatsui is creating. Never forget Jatsui is made by inspired youngsters with a great desire ‘to do’.
“We are seeing growing interest at instore events. An example of that was recently when more than 400 fishermen attended a four-hour showcase in a local shop.”
It is not only local events. Jatsui has also appeared at the major European trade show with a fresh selection of tackle and organised meetings face-to-face between its pro team and brand representatives to inform end users not only how to use products, but explain how they are made and why.
“Since arriving on the scene ten years ago, Jatsui has plenty of projects in the pipeline, a new image and a well-defined brand that is on a mission to providing reliable and high quality products. We also want to be a source of inspiration, supporting a community of enthusiasts who share the same passion for inshore and offshore fishing under the guidance of the words Mediterranean, tradition, colour, nature, innovation and Japan.
“Ten years is not the end, but a checkpoint that allows us to consider the future – the future of Jatsui,” added Zito.
