Major Japanese tackle supplier to launch new brand

One of Japan’s major fishing manufacturers has announced that it is to launch a new brand – GOTO9 – that it promises will turn mundane days ‘upside down’.

ValleyHill will be launching the brand next year. It takes its name from nine to five, the working hours for many across the globe, and will focus on tackle for fishing outside those hours.

The gear will focus on lures specifically designed for shore game fishing and will include:

  • Slim sinking pencil lures for the sandeel spawning season
  • Metal vibration lures
  • Poppers for bream fishing

The full launch is expected to take place at next year’s Fishing Festival.
