Livingston Lures will arrive at Budapest for Angling International LIVE emboldened by its partnership with Angling International.
Since embarking on its crusade to conquer the European market with its trailblazing lures that include the unique EBS (Electronic Baitfish Sounds) technology, the brand is picking up distributors across the region thanks to the magazine.
Erick Arnoldson, VP of Sales and Manufacturing at Livingston Lures, told Angling International that its latest distributors in Bulgaria and Spain approached him after being alerted of the brand in the magazine. “These are extremely important deals for the company,” he added.
Kalin Kabakchiev, of Sofia-based Bait Zone, told Angling International: “After seeing the advertisement feature in the March issue of the magazine I immediately contacted Erick and now – only a few months later – we are fully stocked and offer a complete range of lures to customers.
“I was attracted by the extremely high catch-rate of the first samples we received and the quality of the lures. The EBS was also very important – it is unique and is here to stay in the future.
“We are confident that Livingston Lures will generate a huge amount of interest from anglers in Bulgaria due to its EBS technology, fantastic craftsmanship in each single lure, attractive price points for anglers and good margins for tackle retailers.”
Arnoldson is preparing for next month’s Angling International LIVE and looking to add to its growing list of distributors. “After a successful show at ICAST – the world’s largest fishing tackle trade show – we looking forward to returning to Budapest.”
Last year Livingston enjoyed a busier first two days at the European show than at ICAST 2023 and also picked up a distribution agreement with Visdeal, one of the largest fishing webshops in Europe. “Because it was the first show in Europe for four years, we did not know what to expect, but we were more than pleasantly surprised.
“This year we expect another busy show. Brand recognition is getting there and we expect to have plenty of people coming to our booth wanting to talk about the technology. I can’t wait!”
