SPRO to distribute Nories baits to US anglers

Share

SPRO has secured the distribution of baits from Japanese brand Nories in the US.

Based in Kennesaw, Georgia, SPRO plans to use its extensive distribution resources and retail network to introduce more American anglers to Nories.

Nories was established by pro angler Norio Tanabe (pictured), a pioneer of bass fishing in Japan. In 1993 he journeyed to the US and became the first non-US citizen to triumph in the prestigious Bass Kentucky Invitational tournament, as well as qualifying for the Bassmaster Classic.

Serving as the brand’s chief designer, Tanabe founded Nories in 1993. During his career he has also developed baits under the ECoGear and Duel brands. Japanese pro angler Taku Ito has also been instrumental in introducing American bass fishermen to the Nories line-up of baits.

In addition to its many lures, the company’s catalogue features rods, bags, wallets, apparel and other products.

For further information, dealers are urged to contact their local SPRO representative. Alternatively they can order from SPRO.com.
