Keeping anglers warm in all weather conditions has been a priority for Hungarian tackle suppler Carp Zoom for over a decade and a half.
The company started making outerwear for fishermen more than 15 years ago when it introduced its first item of clothing for the sector – the Thermo Suit – and followed it with a range of rain protection apparel. Now it is a growing part of the Carp Zoom portfolio that aims to keep anglers on the water whatever the weather.
Its current range includes Camou Thigh Waders, X-Cross Boots, a Beanie & Scarf set and Polar Explorer cap – all bestsellers alongside the Winter Cap with LED light and Earflap Fleece Fishing Cap.
Agnes Perecz, Carp Zoom Import/Export Manager, told Angling International that the company works hard to meet the latest design trends while keeping true to the original functions of outerwear.
“We are working on many new types of clothing for the upcoming season and these will include a new rainsuit, mosquito hat and sunglasses.”
Camou Thigh Waders
Firm favourite in keeping anglers dry during wet weather in the autumn and spring seasons. Designed in a classic style with waterproof boots and section above the knee. Due to the soft material in the camouflage, it is comfortable to wear and can be folded when needed. The soles are ribbed, enabling safety when walking, even in slippery conditions.
X-Cross Boots
The easiest way to catch a cold is through the feet and it also significantly reduces the sense of comfort. “With these boots, those problems are rectified,” says Perecz. The integrated, completely waterproof ribbed rubber soles also provide a firm grip on uneven or slippery ground. The boots are made with reinforced seams and gluing and can be laced up quickly and easily. Thanks to the warm lining, they provide comfort while fishing, but are also versatile enough for use during hunting trips and spring gardening work.
Beanie & Scarf Set
Knitted beanie and scarf combo that keeps you warm even in the coldest of weather. The hat easily covers the ears while the scarf can be used as a neck warmer or face mask. One size fits most.
Polar Explorer Cap
Features a soft faux fur on the inside for added comfort and warmth. The earflaps can be worn up or down with snap fasteners to hold them in place.
