Drift Fishing oversees landing of the Launch Jig in UK and Ireland

A UK lure supplier, which is looking to grow its distribution across Europe, has launched a new metal lure which is on sale from retailers now.

Drift Fishing was formed in 2018 and has representation in tackle shops across the UK and Ireland which are now stocking the new Launch Jig.

The metal bait is modelled on a sandeel and designed to be ‘super’ aerodynamic to achieve a maximum distance from the shore. Its non-symmetric design produces an exaggerated wobble on the retrieve and a fluttering motion on the drop.

It can be used from the boat or shore. Stand-out features include: 30g combined weight; UV coating for enhanced visibility; single and treble hooks; RRP £6.99.

Matt Cumbers, the company’s founder, told Angling International that he is looking to attend Angling International LIVE, the European tackle trade show in Budapest in September, and engage with similar businesses that are focused on lure fishing tackle.
