Shimano wins big in Tackle Warehouse awards

Giant online retailer Tackle Warehouse has announced it 2023 Viewer’s Choice Awards, with Shimano winning an amazing six categories.
Winners are chosen by bass fishing enthusiasts worldwide. Shimano’s Freshwater Manager, Bob Mahoney, described the news as ‘an incredible honour’.
Shimano’s Poison Ultima series won both the casting and spinning rod categories. The flagship series incorporates the brand’s most advanced rod technologies, including Spiral X Core and Hi-Power X.
Off the back of its Best Freshwater Reel award at the 2023 ICAST New Product Showcase, the Shimano Stradic FM also topped Tackle Warehouse’s coveted spinning reel category, while the Shimano Curado 200 M was adjudged best new casting reel.
The company’s first foray into fluorocarbon was met with immediate success as the Mastiff FC was named best fishing line at ICAST and that momentum continued as it claimed top spot in the Viewer’s Choice Awards’ best line category.
Shimano added the best spinnerbait category to its collection of awards with the Swagy DW.
