VIDEO – Simms reveals the craftsmanship behind its waders

Wader Makers is a new film that goes behind the scenes to provide an intriguing insight into the people and processes behind the waders made by Simms Fishing Products.
“The film is intended to highlight the craftsmanship, precision and dedication of our wader making team,” said PR and Digital Content Manager John Frazier. “It’s a reminder that Simms was the first to implement waterproof breathability.
“We are the only manufacturer building waders in the US. That is demanding enough, but doing it in a booming mountain town is even more of a challenge.”
Every pair of waders made in the company’s Bozeman facility is turned inside out and filled with water to check for leaks and some models go through 150 steps before being ready for market.
