Omnia releases ‘game changing’ mapping for anglers

Omnia Fishing has released what it describes as the most comprehensive set of mapping layers available to anglers.

Omnia Premium Pro provides a wide range of information on thousands of US water bodies, and is the latest product to come from the Minnesota company that launched its ‘shop by lake’ business five years ago. 

“The PRO subscription includes navionics maps, weather, contours, bottom composition, historical trends, fishing reports and some innovative water clarity and water temperature layers that we process from satellites in near real-time,” said co-founder and CEO Matt Johnson. “There is also access to user-submitted hot baits.

“All the information needed to eliminate dead water before you even arrive comes exclusively in the Omnia Fishing app.”

The PRO Subscription also gives customers 10% back on gear purchases and free, fast shipping. New subscribers can sign up for a free seven-day trial of Premium PRO from the app. Existing Omnia Premium members can upgrade using the app or their Omnia fishing account.

“These Omnia maps are a game changer,” said tournament bass angler Patrick Walters, whose 104lb 12oz weight in his first Elite Series event is the biggest-ever winning margin in an Elite Series tournament.
