Finntrail marks fishing sector entrance at EFTTEX

Share

Finntrail – the Estonian fishing clothing supplier – made its first foray into the recreational fishing sector at EFTTEX and made its mark in spectacular fashion.

The Narva-based brand picked up two awards and three runners-up places in the Gala Dinner at the reconvened event in Budapest and also collected 20 positive leads from visitors to its booth.

Desislava Marinova, Finntrail’s Head of the Marketing Department, told Angling International: “Our main goal at EFTTEX was to find European distributors and dealers and we were successful in that. Of the leads we gained, at least half of them are in active communication with our colleagues in the Sales Department.

“EFTTEX was the first fishing event for Finntrail after we decided to enter the sector and, in that respect, it was more than successful. Most visitors were impressed by the overall look and style of the Finntrail clothing. When they got to see it at even closer quarters, the reaction to the quality was equally positive.”

Its performance in the New Product Awards also served to put the brand firmly on the map. “It was an honour – and huge surprise as a newcomer – to enjoy the success we did,” said Marinova.

“Winning these awards showed that Finntrail is needed and highly regarded by leading businesses within the industry. It shows that we are moving in the right direction.”
