Shimano’s best-ever selling reel gets an upgrade

Shimano has introduced a new version of its best-selling reel ever.

The Japanese tackle giant has taken the wraps off the new Shimano 23 Stradic, which features lots of features that are included on the Shimano 22 Stella.

These include:

Infinity Drive: the structure of the main shaft means anglers can reel with less effort and more control.

Infinity Xross: delivers a two-fold increase in durability compared to previous models.

Anti-twist fin: an online roller that reduces line slack.

Duracross: wear-resistant drag washer that is made of a new material that increases the durability of the washer by 10x compared to the previous model.
