Daiwa Australia celebrated its 50th anniversary in style at the country’s fishing tackle trade show which kicked off on August August 3rd.
The Japanese brand launched the following new products which Australian anglers saw for the very time on Saturday when consumers were permitted to the Australian Fishing Trade Association (ATFA) show.
The Daiwa D-BOX range has been designed and developed to produce a cohesive range of purpose-built storage options perfectly suited to the modern angler. The newly released model, D-BOX EGI, is said to be the perfect tackle storage box to hold ten squid jigs up to a size 3.5.

23 TD COMMANDER has an expanded line-up for 2023 catering for both spin and baitcast anglers from the north to south of the country. “There has never been more options to feel what Daiwa technology can do for your fishing,” says the tackle giant.
A third generation TD HYPER pays homage to the previous versions, whilst ‘elevating the series to new heights in both performance and looks’. With an expansive range of actions, TD HYPER has a model to suit all scenarios from fresh to salt and north to south.
Available in both a 200 and 300 size, the TIERRA HD IC sports a heavy-duty construction perfectly suited to the rigours of Australian conditions. Meanwhile, the new STEEZ BULL FROG is a mega-sized hollow body frog jointly developed between Daiwa teams in Japan, USA and Australia to cater for chasing trophy sized fish on the surface. And a new introduction to the famous TD SOL family, the TD SOL HD, has been developed to suit Australia’s harsh fishing conditions.
