Promotion for Pure Fishing’s Jon Schlosser


Jon Schlosser has been promoted from Senior VP of Marketing at Pure Fishing to Chief Product and Brand Officer.

The global manufacturer, parent to more than 20 brands, says the move underscores its commitment to leading and innovating by aligning the brand, product and R&D functions under one man.

In his new role, Schlosser will drive brand and product category strategies across the portfolio and ensure collaboration between global teams.

“Jon’s impressive track record, depth of strategic thinking and passion for the angling community make him the perfect fit for this role,” said Dave Allen, CEO of Pure Fishing.

“He has been a driving force in our marketing success, and we are excited to see him bring that same level of insight and dedication to our brand development and product innovation across our global business.”

Schlosser, who came to Pure Fishing via its previous owners, Newell Rubbermaid, said: “Having our R&D closely aligned with our product and brand strategies is a powerful combination. Together we will drive innovation, continue to build amazing brands and deepen our engagement with anglers.”
