Gillies to distribute Flambeau across Australia

Australian tackle supplier and distributor Gillies confirmed at ICAST that it has taken over the Australian sales of Flambeau Outdoors, the maker of fishing and hunting storage solutions.

It follows a similar agreement with renowned clothing brand HUK, which was struck earlier this year. Flambeau replaces Plano, which Gillies distributed for 40 years before it was acquired by Pure Fishing in 2021.

Billy Parsons, Gillies General Manager, told Angling International: “Flambeau brings a huge range of tackle storage options that we had with Plano so we know the sector well and are trusted to deliver quality product and price to our retailers.”

The HUK and Flambeau brands will be unveiled to the trade for the first time during the Australian Fishing Trade Association (AFTA) show which takes place from August 3rd to 5th at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.
