Nash signs deal to transform stock management

Share

Nash Tackle – one of the UK’s leading suppliers of fishing gear – has signed a deal which it believes will transform how it manages its stock so it can continue with its ambitious global expansion plans.

It has selected a business software package – Manufacturing Cloud ERP – from Rootstock Software which gives the manufacturer the tools to collaborate with suppliers, trading partners and the broader value chain to meet evolving customer needs, navigate emerging challenges and accelerate the success of the company.

“Our industry is still very traditional in nature,” said Lee Nash, Chief Executive Officer of Nash Tackle. “Thanks to the help from ELLA Digital – our business advisor – we are implementing a comprehensive digital transformation plan. Our goal is to be an industry leader when it comes to using cutting-edge technology to deliver a superior experience to our customers and employees.”

“Our goal is to provide Nash Tackle with an integrated solution,” said Andy Freeman, Chief Commercial Officer of ELLA Digital. “Our overall digital transformation programme ensures that Nash Tackle will have a unified data model and a single view of its entire business.”

David Stephans, CEO at Rootstock Software, added: “We are proud to provide our Cloud ERP to a brand that has been at the centre of fishing innovation for 40 years. Nash Tackle has built an iconic brand and significant following in the angling world.

“With our Manufacturing Cloud ERP, it will have the support to continue developing new products and to deliver ongoing market expansion.”

Nash Tackle’s current ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) platform is generating significant pain points and requires lengthy manual inputs and does not have the capacity to provide real-time reporting to allow effective and efficient stock management. Based in the UK and Poland and serving customers in over 30 countries, the company also wanted to be able to efficiently comply with regulatory issues in the countries in which it operates.

Nash added: “With Salesforce and Rootstock Cloud ERP built in one platform, we knew our company’s operations would be futureproof for our growth operations.”

Nash Tackle plans to go live with Rootstock Cloud ERP in October.

ELLA was formed in 2021 to help businesses fulfil their potential through digital transformation. It ensures seamless integration of a company’s online and offline worlds to drive better business, employee, and customer outcomes.
