New location for China Fish revealed

Share

China Fish – set to return in February after a four-year COVID-induced break – will be held in a new location it was revealed today.

The show is leaving its traditional home in the New International Trade Center in Beijing to relocate to the coastal port of Qingdao City, in the Shandong Province, 650km (403 miles) to the south of the Chinese capital.

The organiser of the show, the Beijing Admire Exhibition Company, says that the move is in response to comments from exhibitors who find Beijing in February ‘too cold’. Qingdao is an important port and is the home of the Tsingtao brewery.

Next year’s China Fish, which already has 550 exhibitors registered to attend, will be held in the Hongdao International Convention and Exhibition Center, one of the largest centres of its kind in China, with 14 halls and a total of 140,000 sqm of exhibition space.

The city is served by the recently opened (2021) Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport, which is located 24 miles from the city and is the largest airport in the Shandong Province. Direct flights are available from many countries across the world, including the UK, Australia, US, United Arab Emirates and Korea.

Next year’s China Fish is set to run from February 21st to 23rd.
