Huk and Nomad Outdoor brands get new marketing head

Marolina Outdoor, parent company of Huk Performance Fishing and Nomad Outdoor, has recruited Joe Becker as VP of Marketing for both brands.

He will be responsible for leading and managing all areas of marketing for Huk and Nomad and, says Marolina, will be key in driving growth and profitability through effective marketing strategies and tactics.

Becker’s career includes positions as Creative Director for the Wolverine Boot brand, E-commerce Creative Director for Merrell, Art Director for Carhartt and various roles for Cat Footwear, including International Marketing Director.

“We are confident Joe is the best candidate to plot the course for growth and new customer acquisition,” said Dean Rurak, CEO of Marolina Outdoor.

Backer said he was eager to drive the brand’s growth by creating emotional connections with outdoor enthusiasts.
