New Denali Novus baitcasters on sale from Monday

Available from Monday (May 15th) are the Novus Series of low profile baitcasting reels from US brand Denali Fishing. They have been designed to complement its extensive range of rods.
The company says that following a year-long design process, these reels have been made to deliver maximum casting distance and smooth performance using any size of lures. They come in three models, multiple gear ratios and all feature a light aluminium frame, compact, ergonomically-friendly design and a high strength brass gear drive.
The Novus Casting leads off the series with high value at an affordable price. It features 7+1 bearings and is available in right-hand retrieve with three gear ratios: 6.2:1, 7.3:1 and 8.1:1. Line capacity is 153 yards of 12lb test. It weighs 7.8oz.
The next step up is the Novus Pro with expanded features including: 9+1 bearings and drag strength at 15.4lb. Costing $199.99 (US), it has right-hand retrieve and is offered in 7.3:1 and 8.1:1 gear ratios. Line capacity is 153 yards of 12lb test and the weight is 7.8oz.
Denali’s flagship Novus Elite checks in at just 7.5oz and features 10+1 bearings. It retails at $249.99 in both 7:3:1 and 8:1:1 gear ratios.
