Appointment underlines Mustad’s commitment to portfolio growth

Mustad has appointed Isaac Payne as Director of Innovation and Product Development as it continues to invest in the expansion of its product portfolio.

Payne’s previous career includes two years with House of Outdoors, where he was Director of Innovation and Design for the Bass Mafia and Googan Squad brands, and three years with Shimano North America, where he was Regional Sales Manager.

His new role will be crucial to strategy and product development for Mustad and its LIVETARGET and TUF-Line brands, says the Norwegian company.

“Isaac’s knowledge and expertise in key sportfishing segments will expand the team’s ability to take our brands to the next level, and not only in bass,” said Mustad’s Global Product Manager, Enrico Parmeggiani.

Payne, who has been involved in every ICAST and Bassmaster Classic since 2012, said his mission is to build on the synergy between the hook and lure systems for which Mustad and LIVETARGET excel.
