Johnson swaps Prologic for Wychwood Carp

Richard Johnson, Senior Product Manager at Prologic for the past four years, has joined UK company Leeda as Manager of its Wychwood carp brand.

Johnson, who has been a tackle shop assistant, store manager, sales rep, product developer and consultant during his 25 years in the industry, replaces Martin Tracey who leaves Leeda on April 18th.

Formerly a national-level match angler, Johnson later turned his attention to carp and has travelled Europe to record catches that include a 44lb UK common, a 38lb UK mirror, a 54lb EU common and a 74lb EU mirror.

He also achieved world record status with a rare Chinese Black carp that broke the scales at 154lb, but was estimated to weigh more than 185lb.
