Rapala has continued to build its product development team with the appointment of a Lure Design Manager.
Esa Juusola, who was previously Lure Colour Designer at the company, takes up the global role immediately and will report to Rapala’s Head of Lure Product Development, Mikko Rautiainen.
“As lure painting technologies continue to advance and more lure printing techniques come to market, it’s imperative that Rapala remains on the cutting edge of design,” said David Neill, Executive VP, Global Product Development and Innovation.
“We have developed this new role with this key strategic initiative in mind, ensuring that we continue to lead the pack through innovation.
“Esa brings a wealth of experience in design and techniques to the lure printing and painting process. With his vast knowledge and expertise, he will manage all lure painting and pattern design projects. Esa’s skills and insight will help evolve our designs and attain new heights in finishing quality, realism and overall aesthetic appeal.”
