Trade to get first look at new Nytro brand from Sonik
One of Europe’s top suppliers is returning to EFTTEX this year to promote its exciting new feeder fishing range of tackle to retailers across the region.
UK supplier Sonik Sports, better known for its carp tackle, will be back at the show for the first time since Amsterdam five years ago to give the whole trade its first look at the products in the new Nytro range.
Sonik Sports CEO Atle Haakonsen told Angling International: “Visitors to our trade shows have seen Nytro, but this is the first time that we have been able to showcase it to the industry.”
The first phase of the Nytro launch took place last year when the company unveiled feeder rods, reels, nets and seatboxes. At EFTTEX Sonik will be giving visitors a sneak peak of what the next stage of the new brand’s development has to offer.
“Phase two will complete the range and deliver all the gear that a feeder fishing angler needs,” added Haakonsen. “The reaction to Nytro has been fantastic so far and we are excited to present it to a wider audience.”
Alongside the headlining Nytro, the company will also be highlighting innovations from Sonik at the new-look European event. Haakonsen admitted that he is a fan of the new format as he believes it is more retailer-friendly.
“The emphasis has swung towards the retailer. The free entrance initiative is a real positive and a good platform for the future.”
Haakonsen added he is excited to be returning to EFTTEX. “Europe needs a trade show. Because of COVID a lot of people have been locked away. EFTTEX is a great opportunity to interact again, write orders and meet new customers.”
