‘Home of fly fishing’ launches new season

Denver, Colorado – considered by many to be the home of fly fishing – is set to host the 21st Denver Fly Fishing Show.
The three-day event will kick off the new season at the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Centre on Friday (February 17th), with visitors given the chance to vote in the 2023 Consumer Choice Product Awards.
The programme will feature 26 classes run by experts including Mac Brown, Dr. Gary Borger, Pat Dorsey, Ed Engle, Phil Rowley, Tim Cammisa and Karin Miller.
There will also be 38 free seminars including Where Trout Are with Jason Randall, Techniques for Catching Trout All Year (Landon Mayer), Catching Difficult Trout (Ed Engle) and Tricks and Tactics For The World’s Best Flats (Jeff Currier).
Additional events on the programme include casting demonstrations on the two indoor ponds, fly tying demonstrations, a Women’s Fly Fishing Showcase and 120 Destination and Adventure Theatre presentations.
