Mikado strengthens business in Finland and Sweden
Mikado has made a new appointment to further develop its business in Finland and Sweden.
Jani Haavisto will support the marketing and promotion of the Abramis brand’s products in both territories.
Haavisto has a long track record in the Scandinavian tackle business, starting as a retailer in 2012 and moving onto sales, marketing and product development, with a strong background in hands-on experience through his guiding business.
“Jani’s experience and knowledge of the industry in this region will be invaluable in supporting our further development,” said Mikado Export Sales Director Jan Kalousek.
“As a lifelong angler and big fish specialist, he will bring an additional level of support to the growth of the Mikado brand. Finland and Sweden are key markets for us and having local representation and a contact point for our customers will increase our ability to respond to the increasing demand for our products.
“The Mikado range is an excellent fit to the fishing styles, especially in the predator and ice sectors.”
Wojciech Kurowicki, Director and co-owner of Abramis, added: “Our international development outside of our home market is driven by having local representation, so we have first-hand feedback and knowledge to allow us to customise our offer to the market requirement.
“We have been active in these markets for several years and adding Jani to our team is a sign of our commitment to developing our product and offering for consumers there.”
