EFTTEX regular: ‘It’s the personal contact that we have missed the most’

FirstDart first exhibited at EFTTEX 19 years ago and, with the exception of the COVID years, has been ever-present on the show floor.
So the Singapore line company, known throughout the industry for its extensive product range, is looking forward to the return of Europe’s top tackle trade show in four months’ time.
“EFTTEX is an important meeting hub where sellers and buyers can meet and discuss the challenges we face,” says Zbynek Tetek (main picture), Sales Manager EMEA. “Without the show, this is very difficult.
“It is this personal contact that we have missed the most during the show’s absence. Even though technology is rocketing ahead, we prefer personal contact as the best way of interaction.

“EFTTEX helps us strengthen our relationships with customers. As a global company, with an office in Europe but headquartered in Singapore, it is also an opportunity for us to understand the market trends by talking directly to the stakeholders.”
FirstDart has strong, technology-based credentials. Its expertise lies in the extrusion of nylon, PVDF and specialised polymers. It is well known for braiding UHMWPE, polyester and nylon and for its fly line production.
It will be presenting a new low-stretch monofilament in Budapest, a product that has long been requested by customers. The launch campaign has already begun, with details being released in the March issue of Angling International. “We believe it will be very big,” says Tetek.
Visitors to EFTTEX will also find fly lines on the FirstDart booth, with the company promising ‘amazing progress’ since the last show. The Premium+ range is designed to satisfy customers’ every requirement.
