Share

Former Svendsen Sport CEO Hans Maasbøl, who parted company with the group following its acquisition by Pure Fishing, has left the industry to become a board director at Ferm Living, an upmarket furniture, accessories and lighting business based in Copenhagen.

Announcing his new position on social media, Maasbøl said: “I am looking forward to the further positive strategic development of the very successful brand and company, Ferm Living.

“Together with the rest of the board, the main shareholder, Maj Invest, the founder and the talented executive management team at Ferm Living, I look forward to supporting the future steps of the company. The work has already started.”

Maj Invest is the same asset management company that owned Svendsen before selling the Danish business and its Savage Gear, Prologic, MadCat, Water Wolf and DAM brands to Pure Fishing early last year for $153.4 million.
