AFTCO announces global expansion to Japan

Award-winning clothing brand, the American Fishing Tackle Company (AFTCO), has embarked on a global expansion programme and announced a distribution deal in Japan.

The company, which won four awards at last year’s ICAST trade show, has appointed Sunline as its distribution partner.

The Japanese fishing line maker will manage the sales and marketing of AFTCO products across the country. Junji Nakazaki, Overseas Sales Director and Sunline Board member, said: “It is a great honour for us to be trusted with distribution of the AFTCO brand.

“We look forward to bringing AFTCO branded products to Japanese anglers. Whether fishing fresh or saltwater, Japanese fishermen want the best gear available and to fish in comfort whatever the conditions. We know that AFTCO products will allow them to do that.”
