Huge fishing section at new ‘giant’ GO Outdoors store

GO Outdoors, the owner of the Fishing Republic retail brand, has opened a giant new store in the UK with a huge fishing section.

The 80,000 square foot outlet is in Festival Park, Stoke-on-Trent, England, and is the result of GO Outdoors securing premises formerly owned by two other businesses to add to the unit it had been trading from on a temporary basis.

The new store also includes sections dedicated to camping, cycling and equestrian sports and has a brand new mezzanine level and a ‘tent field’. It will be officially opened on Saturday (December 3rd) by television presenter Julia Bradbury. Also in attendance will be Fishing Republic Ambassador David Seaman, the former Arsenal and England goalkeeper.
