Halco ‘dips toes’ into apparel market

Share

Australian lure brand Halco has taken its first step into the apparel market with the introduction of a range of products in time for Christmas.

The selection includes tournament fishing shirts, polo shirts, fish jerseys, vests, caps, hoodies, beanies and face shields.

“All the items are designed for performance as well as looking smart on and off the water,” said Halco Managing Director Ben Patrick (pictured). “At this stage we are very much dipping our toes in the water with some promotion apparel to see what happens.”

Based in Fremantle, Western Australia, Halco was founded in 1950 and has been owned by the Patrick family since 1980. It has since acquired the Madeye, RMG and Tilsan lure brands.
